Opened in August of 2003, Aventura City of Excellence School or ACES is a Charter School serving hundreds of children in grades K-8. The school is located in NE 188th street in close proximity with the Community Recreation Center. ACES provides residents of the City of Aventura with an educational environment filled with effective learning mingled with much-needed socialization.

Parents need not worry about their children’s safety with ACES. The City of Aventura provides a round-the-clock police officer to the school and several traditional security measures are also employed to ensure maximum protection for the students, including video surveillance and cameras. With small class sizes, in addition, ACES provides a learning environment where no child would be left out. A cap of 20 students is employed while 25 for other levels. Specialty classes are also provided with options ranging from music and art to foreign language and media. Furthermore, with an Exceptional Student Education (ESE), English as a Second Language (ESOL) and Gifted Students Programs, parents are ensured that their children will be given the attention they require.
